Election Grievance Committee

Our association is committed to ensuring a fair, transparent, and democratic election process. The Election Grievance Committee serves as an independent, impartial body tasked with reviewing and resolving any election-related complaints, disputes, or procedural challenges. If a member or candidate believes an election rule or bylaw has been violated, they may submit a formal complaint to the committee for investigation. By providing a neutral forum for dispute resolution, the committee protects voter integrity and ensures that all voices in our community are heard fairly.

Grievance & Election Policy
Official Guidelines

Guidelines governing the submission, review, and resolution of complaints and objections during the election process.

All complaints, objections, and submissions shall be reviewed confidentially and anonymously to ensure fairness and to avoid bias, personal influence, or future conflicts involving the complainant or any concerned party.
The names and identities of complainants, respondents, and related individuals shall remain undisclosed during the review process unless disclosure is legally or procedurally necessary.
No part of any submission, evidence, discussion, or decision may be shared on public forums, social media platforms, or with irrelevant persons in any form without official authorization.
The Grievance Committee shall independently review all submitted matters and issue decisions based on the election rules, available evidence, and principles of fairness.
The Election Committee reserves the right to review or reconsider a decision of the Grievance Committee if substantial procedural error, misinterpretation, or factual inaccuracy is identified.
At any stage of the process, the Election Commissioner shall have the authority to take necessary decisions or procedural actions to resolve disputes, maintain order, and ensure the smooth conduct of the election process.
Any final decision issued by the Election Commissioner or Election Committee after review shall be considered binding and shall not be subject to further reconsideration or appeal.
All grievances must be submitted in good faith. False, misleading, or malicious complaints intended to defame or disrupt the election process may result in disciplinary action.
All parties involved in grievance proceedings are expected to maintain respectful and professional conduct throughout the process.
Complaints or objections must be submitted within the officially announced timelines. Late submissions may not be considered unless exceptional circumstances exist.
